Check out the winter issue of Faerie Magazine to see an article on my Repurposed Christmas Tree Lady – a great way to reuse your Christmas tree after the holidays. It is such an honor to be featured in this beautiful magazine once again.
Don’t forget to schedule a free painting estimate and/or landscape design estimate before the busy spring season starts back up. Estimates are always free and painting contracts come with a free color consultation. It can be tricky figuring out what different shades will look like once they’re dry, but I have helped many clients find just the right hue they wanted. I was truly honored to have my Succulent Lady featured in an article in the summer issue of Faerie Magazine! The entire process was very exciting and I’m glad to finally be able to share it with you all. To read the full article in Faerie Magazine, you can order through their website, http://www.faeriemag.com/. I enjoyed the heart-warming article about how one woman uses her art to feature and help shelter dogs find homes, along with another that detailed how to make and bottle your own homemade juices.
While I love designing gardens, creating this dress form was a really fun way to explore a more creative side to landscaping and gardening. I would love to be able to pursue this more, so if you or someone you know is interested in having something like this for their home or business, dress form or otherwise, please contact me. I would love the chance to talk, brainstorm and see what we can come up with. The possibilities are endless – and I have many ideas just waiting for the right person to come along. Give me a call or send me an email!
This year, I decided to go a little green and used the dress form that I used for my Succulent Lady to repurpose my Christmas tree. The results are stunning! I am excited to display this on my front porch. It still has warm, holiday aroma of a fir tree, so I kept it inside for a while but am now using it to bring new life to my wintery landscape. These beautiful photos were taken by my friend, Jim Meacci. Please take a moment to check out his website to see his impressive collection of work on “The Aestheticism of Living”.
One of the easiest (and funnest) ways to decorate your storefront, yard, entryway, deck, porch or any part of your garden are containers. They can be filled with any variety of plants, herbs, flowers, and grasses to create the perfect color and texture combination to suit your design and taste. Combined with the container of your choice, each one is unique and easily adjusted to anyone’s preferences. Take a look at some of the container gardens we’ve put together for clients and give us a call to schedule a free appointment! We’d love to bring pops of color to your landscape, deck, garden, storefront or porch areas.
