At the beginning of this COVID-19 quarantine, I began creating this floral collage dress form. Ever since Coronavirus came to Chicago and Governor Pritzker instituted Shelter-in-Place, I’ve been looking for ways I can be creative at home.
I found this wire dress form but didn’t have any flowers or plants to decorate it with as I have in the past. Thankfully, I do have plenty of home and garden magazines with pictures of flowers. I cut these out using a flower-shaped hole punch, aiming for a variety of colors.
To dress my form, I glued cheesecloth around the entire frame. Once it dried, I began gluing my flower cut-outs individually to the form until…. voila!
Check out some of my other dress forms here! I’ve used succulents, foliage, pine branches, and flowers to decorate dress forms for all occasions.
